Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe was known for many things but few knew that she had a very lean lower back with a prominent spine that would often stick out when she relaxed her posture.

Here she is sitting relaxed (without arching her back backward like she was often times told to do in photoshoots) at the 1962 Golden Globes wearing a backless dress, showing off the very defined spine bones in her lower back.

When she stood up straight, you could tell how deep the middle of her back was and that if she bent over even a little, her spine bones would show.

She had a beautiful spine. Unfortunately, not many people appreciated it at the time.
